Why Equipment Inspections Matter

Uninspected or poorly maintained equipment can lead to:

  • Interchange rejections

  • Bad-order holds

  • Delayed shipments

  • Increased demurrage

  • Unexpected repair costs

  • Safety and compliance risks

PRS helps customers avoid these issues through proactive inspection and early intervention.

By addressing problems early, we protect your operation from unnecessary disruption.

Integrated With Storage & Switching Operations

Our inspection and maintenance services are fully integrated with our:

  • Railcar storage operations

  • Industrial switching services

  • First- and last-mile support

  • Fleet management programs

This allows customers to work with a single, accountable partner, instead of coordinating multiple providers.

We don’t just store or move your equipment. We help manage it.

  • Grain elevators and terminals

  • Industrial and processing facilities

  • Short line railways

  • Fleet and equipment owners

Whether your equipment is seasonal, surplus, or in active rotation, PRS helps keep it compliant and ready for service.
